Full Job Description

MAC Rx of MO, a growing long term care pharmacy, is seeking an Emergency Dispensing Kit Pharmacy Technician to join our team!

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with the federal and state laws, regulations, and rules related to Emergency Dispensing Procedures and utilization. The role for the CSA representative in restocking the EDS system at facilities and is also expected to provide expert analysis and research in response to EDS usage/inquiries. This position consists of traveling to assigned facilities and maintaining the EDS stock. While at the facilities, this position is a representative of MAC Rx, and therefore will gather information given to them from facility and will inform respective parties of issues or concerns as the role constitutes levels of customer service

Responsibilities include:

· Replenish EDS orders to facilities

· Track and report via visit follow up email EDS errors, discrepancies, and issues

· Conducts monthly cart audits

· Conducts upon each visit an expiration audit report

· Monitors and assists on par vs usage reports and reductions of inventory

· Audits upon each visit all narcotic medication stored in EDS and refrigerated items

· Assists in technological issues that may arise with EDS software

· Monitor EDS access; create/delete/reset passwords and other duties and/or projects as required and assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Intimate knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and guidelines

· Problem solver

· Ability to operate office machines which do not require special training other than skills which may be acquired on the job.

· Able to travel

· Must have up to date driver’s license, and car insurance

· Must past MVR to drive company vehicle

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Missouri Pharmacy Technician License is required

· Two years of pharmacy technician experience preferred

The full time position will be comprised of a 40 hour work week and will qualify for health, dental, and vision insurance along with short and long term disability, life insurance, access to a 401(k) as well as a generous PTO plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
