Full Job Description

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, service line Queen of Peace Center, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our mission-driven team supporting women, children, and families in breaking the cycle of substance use disorders. Reporting to the Residential Manager, this role provides direct care and supportive services that promote health, safety, and recovery in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Technician will assist clients with therapeutic activities, facilitate groups, and provide crisis management while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, ensuring compliance with treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with nursing staff to uphold medication protocols. Candidates should bring strong communication skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to serve as a positive role model. CPR/First Aid and Med-Level 1 certification are required, with prior experience in behavioral health or residential care preferred.
