Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a strong background in sales, particularly in high-end or retail environments. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to final purchase. As a Car Sales consultant, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Be a primary point of contact for customers to communicate with about the dealership, available vehicles and other services offered
Ask probing questions and determine customer needs in order to match their expectations and identify upsell opportunities
Educate customers on various makes and models in-house, including direct comparisons and upselling opportunities
Accurately discuss pricing for purchasing or leasing new vehicles, add-ons, maintenance scheduling, and more
Stay up to date on vehicle inventory
Work with management to establish sales goals and measurables for performance related compensation
Attend staff meetings, trainings and keep up with product knowledge on a monthly basis
Be enthusiastic about our dealership and help drive sales through quality interactions
Conduct cold calling and outbound sales efforts to generate new business opportunities.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and maintain detailed records of communications.
Skills
Proven experience in outside sales, particularly in B2B or automobile sales environments.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales.
Familiarity with CRM software and retail math principles for effective inventory management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
Organizational skills that allow for efficient management of multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus (bilingual/multilingual).
Experience in public speaking and presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of marketing strategies that can enhance dealership visibility and attract customers.
