Full Job Description

Company Overview: Signature Cruise Experiences is a top-tier theme charter cruise company based in Clayton, Missouri, specializing in delivering exceptional cruise experiences since 2001. With a strong commitment to providing top-notch service and entertainment, Signature Cruise Experiences serves over 13,000 guests annually on its cruises and organizes various land-based music events.

Position Overview: Signature Cruise Experiences is currently seeking an experienced Organic Social Media Manager/Specialist to own, plan and execute organic social media strategy across 3-5 cruise programs, building content pillars and social calendars that support each sailing from pre-cruise anticipation and booking through post-cruise engagement. This position requires a proactive project manager who can anticipate needs, stay ahead of timelines, and take ownership of planning and execution to ensure deadlines are consistently met. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, hard-working and ready to have fun with our stellar marketing and operations teams.

This position requires you to be onsite in our Clayton, MO headquarters.

What you’ll be doing:

· Plan and execute organic social media strategy across 3-5 cruise programs, tailoring content and tone to each program’s unique guest experience and audience.

· Develop social content pillars for each cruise program spanning pre-sailing content that builds anticipation and sells the experience to drive bookings, live onboard engagement, and post-sailing recap and retention content.

· Build and maintain organic content calendars in HeyOrca, scheduling and publishing across all brand social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and others).

· Partner with content development partners (photographers, videographers, designers) to ensure a steady pipeline of assets is available ahead of scheduling needs.

· Coordinate with onboard and guest experience teams to capture and source live photo/video content during sailings.

· Monitor channels daily, engage with followers, and respond to comments and DMs to build community and support guest service.

· Track organic social performance (engagement, reach, follower growth) by cruise program and translate results into actionable recommendations.

· Identify high-performing organic posts and flip them to boosted/paid campaigns to extend reach and grow audience and followers.

· Ensure all organic content is consistent with brand voice, guidelines, and messaging across every cruise program.

· Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats, recommending new approaches as relevant.

· Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to align organic social with email, web, and paid campaign timing.

· Assist with some cruise-related, non-digital marketing projects as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

· Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in organic social media management, ideally in travel, hospitality, entertainment or a related industry.

· Hands-on experience with HeyOrca or a comparable social media scheduling/management platform.

· Proven experience developing and executing organic content strategies across multiple brands or programs simultaneously.

· Basic image and video editing skills.

· Familiarity with social media analytics/reporting tools and translating data into insights.

· Solid project management experience with superior organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.

· Hard-working and resourceful with a can-do attitude.

· Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
