Forest Hills Country Club is located in the prestigious suburb of Clarkson Valley, in the greater Chesterfield area. For more than 55 years, Forest Hills has been recognized as the premier private country club in West St. Louis.

Known as “The Family Club of Choice,” Forest Hills offers members world-class golf, dining, and amenities in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Club features include:

An 18-hole championship golf course and a 9-hole Valley course
State-of-the-art aquatic center with multiple pools and waterpark features
Pool and cabana bar
Four hard-surface tennis courts, two Har-Tru clay courts, new tennis facility, and pickleball courts

Position Summary

Forest Hills Country Club is seeking an experienced Line Cook from a private club or high-volume upscale hospitality environment. The ideal candidate has experience across multiple outlets, including à la carte dining and banquet operations, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

This position requires a high-energy, positive team player who consistently looks for ways to exceed member expectations and takes pride in quality, presentation, and service.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meats, preparing sauces, etc.)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team
Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
Properly store and label food and manage inventory
Ensure food is prepared and plated with high quality and consistency
Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and nutrition standards
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and members

Qualifications & Skills

Proven cooking experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with industry best practices and food safety standards
Culinary school diploma preferred
