This role oversees an active hyperscale data center construction campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma as the primary construction leader on site. The Site Lead is responsible for driving safety, quality, schedule, and overall project execution across multiple buildings and phases. The position requires deep experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical data center environments for major technology clients and proven success serving as the top site leader on comparable hyperscale projects.
Responsibilities-
Lead all construction activities on site for an active hyperscale data center campus, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution.

Provide direct oversight of field teams, subcontractors, and project staff, aligning daily operations with overall project goals and milestones.

Manage construction schedules, monitor progress, and drive adherence to aggressive timelines using pull planning, look-ahead scheduling, and critical path management.

Own site-wide safety performance by enforcing safety standards, conducting regular inspections, and fostering a safety-first culture across all trades.

Ensure construction quality meets mission-critical and hyperscale standards, implementing robust QA/QC processes throughout all phases of work.

Serve as the primary point of contact for ownership, technology clients, and executive stakeholders, representing the project in all on-site matters.

Coordinate structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to deliver integrated data center facilities from early site work through turnover.

Lead project meetings, provide clear status updates, and present progress, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership and owner representatives.

Oversee budget and overall project performance, balancing cost, schedule, and quality on projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Guide the project through commissioning, startup, and operational turnover processes, ensuring successful owner acceptance of mission-critical systems.

Mentor project teams, field staff, and subcontractors, driving accountability, performance, and collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Support the execution of multiple buildings and phased campus construction work, coordinating simultaneous scopes and managing interdependencies.

Maintain strong client-facing relationships with major cloud and technology providers, responding to priorities and aligning site execution with hyperscale standards.

Travel as needed and manage any remote/home rotation schedules while maintaining consistent leadership presence on site.
Essential Skills-
Extensive experience leading large-scale data center construction projects, including hyperscale and mission-critical environments.

Proven track record serving as the top site leader or primary construction representative on complex hyperscale data center projects.

Deep understanding of data center construction methodologies and execution for large campus-style developments.

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems supporting mission-critical loads.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems used in large data center facilities.

Familiarity with generators and backup power systems for mission-critical infrastructure.

Experience with commissioning and startup processes, including coordination through turnover and owner acceptance.

Demonstrated ability to oversee safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall project performance on high-value construction projects.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and simultaneous scopes of work on large commercial or industrial construction sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and relevant mission-critical construction experience will be considered.

Experience supporting data center projects for major cloud and technology providers such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, or AWS.

Previous work on multiple hyperscale campus developments or large campus-style projects.

Experience working on nationally recognized mission-critical construction projects.

Background with large technology owner representatives and familiarity with hyperscale standards and expectations.

Work Environment
This position is based 100% on-site at a hyperscale data center construction campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The campus includes multiple buildings at different phases of construction, with one building approximately 50% complete and a second building in early site and foundation stages. The work schedule typically consists of a five-day workweek with 10–12-hour workdays, with occasional Saturdays as project needs require. There are no night shift requirements at this time. The environment is an active construction site with ongoing structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning activities, requiring consistent on-site leadership and coordination. Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States but must be willing to travel and work on-site full-time. A home rotation is generally offered periodically during the assignment.
