Full Job Description

Lake Forest Country Club is seeking a dedicated and professional Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a full-time position with the unique opportunity to work both in our main kitchen and at our highly active Patio Grill. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistency and presentation, and enjoys being part of a team that delivers an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute daily prep and service on the line with precision and consistency
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
Work multiple stations in the kitchen as needed
Operate the Patio Grill during peak service hours, preparing grilled items to order
Provide a positive, team-oriented attitude in both kitchen and outdoor service environments
Assist with inventory, prep lists, and closing procedures
Uphold the standards expected in a private club setting

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
Additional earnings through a percentage of sales while working Patio Grill shifts
Consistent full-time hours with a stable schedule

Qualifications:

Previous line cook or grill experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Team player with a professional attitude
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during golf season
