Full Job Description

About this role:

The BI Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting teams to measure and enhance operational quality and efficiency as part of our continuous improvement initiatives. This position involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for developing robust BI and data structures. The BI Analyst leverages data analysis and visualization tools to monitor, refine, and optimize processes and systems in partnership with internal Subject Matter Experts.

What You'll Do:

Solve complex problems and effectively manage ambiguity and unexpected changes

Analyze large volumes of data and develop insightful dashboards to provide C-Suite and senior leadership with critical insights for informed decision-making

Gain a deep understanding of various business units and company initiatives to conduct fact-based analyses that address and resolve identified issues

Utilize emerging technologies to devise strategies and solutions that enhance business productivity

Develop, perform, and provide reporting and detailed analyses with the objective of improving processes and systems across functions, ensuring sustainable scalability of data

What you’ll need:

Experience

1-3 years business/analysis experience preferred

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, i.e., pivot tables, power query, automation/macros

Hands-on experience with designing and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation

Ability to understand the data, its underlying source and processes, and draw meaningful conclusions from the results

Strong ability to work with large quantities of detailed data from multiple sources

Experience with AI tools and techniques to enhance data analysis and reporting

PowerPoint and think-cell charting

Analytic Skills

Strong critical thinking or “creative problem solving” skills

Exceptional analytic skills and attention to detail

Excellent ability to understand business processes

Strong ability to manage constantly shifting priorities and requirements. Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change

Ability to research and implement new processes and programs to work towards automation and efficiency improvements

Operational Skills

Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in proactive manner

Motivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead

Teachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement

Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills & effective listening skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 87,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
