Full Job Description

Kearney Realty & Development Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of communities, a major of which are financed under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. This position is responsible for the financial performance, operations, compliance, and overall success of a multi-site portfolio throughout the Hudson Valley region.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader and effective manager with a deep knowledge of LIHTC guidelines, proven operational expertise and the ability to oversee and mentor on-site property management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operation of a portfolio of approximately 800-1,000 units
Supervise and support Property Managers and site maintenance teams
Conduct regular site visits to ensure operational excellence and physical asset quality
Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with ownership and accounting team
Monitor property financials, including NOI, occupancy, arrears and expense control
Review monthly financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed
Assist in the recruitment, training and mentoring of Property Managers
Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans
Foster a culture of accountability and professionalism
Ensure consistency in policies, procedures and best practices across the portfolio

Qualifications

5+ years of property management experience, including multi-site supervision
2+ years as a Regional Manager or Senior Property Manager (preferred)
Strong experience with LIHTC compliance and regulations (required)
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Yardi (preferred)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly with the region
