Position Summary
As a Project Manager on the Multi-Site Programs team at KMS, you will manage a portfolio of maintenance capital and small to mid-size capital improvement projects for clients that operate large networks of facilities. Typical work includes branch and store renovations, refreshes and relocations, building envelope and roofing programs, mechanical and electrical replacements, site and paving work, ATM replacements, equipment deployments, technology implementations, and other recurring multi-state initiatives. Individual projects generally range from $50,000 to $5 million. Acting as the owner's representative, you will oversee projects from initiation through closeout by coordinating stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery with minimal disruption to daily site operations. On certain accounts, KMS holds the contracts with vendors and delivers projects on a turnkey basis, so you will also manage vendor procurement, contracting, and performance directly.
Because KMS specializes in managing high volumes of projects at scale, you will oversee numerous projects simultaneously while partnering closely with Program Managers, Senior Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, client site representatives, and other project stakeholders. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, proactive communication, sound decision-making, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Travel to project sites may be required for up to 50% of the work schedule.
