Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Service Technician / EHR Support to join our technology team. This role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring seamless computer and network operations, and delivering excellent customer service to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, computer management, and network infrastructure, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Duties

Provide technical support for EHR systems and related hardware/software issues
Troubleshoot software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
Manage computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance
Assist users with desktop support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of devices
Configure and maintain network components such as LAN, VPN, firewalls, and switches
Monitor and resolve issues related to IT infrastructure using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and Help Desk systems
Support software applications including Microsoft Office suite and other healthcare-specific tools
Maintain security protocols by managing firewalls and VPN access to protect sensitive data
Document incidents and resolutions accurately within ticketing systems for tracking and reporting purposes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT processes and infrastructure stability

Requirements

Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within a healthcare or enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN, VPN, firewall configuration, and troubleshooting
Proficiency with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Experience with software troubleshooting, hardware management, and IT infrastructure maintenance
Familiarity with help desk ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy is preferred
Excellent communication skills to effectively assist end-users and document issues clearly
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on resolving issues promptly and professionally
