Job Experience: Required in Medical Field as receptionist

Medical Office Receptionist Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts.

Medical Office Receptionist Job Duties include, but not limited to:

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Collects patient responsibility fees and sets up payment plans as necessary. Responsible for reconciling and depositing collections on a daily basis.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift, push, or move items or equipment up to 25–50 pounds as needed
Flexibility to travel to satellite or remote clinic locations approximately 25% of the time, as required by practice needs
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Prepare and clean treatment rooms, patient areas and medical instruments
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment
Maintains strict adherence to HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and clinical safety standards
Strong typing skills with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately, ensuring timely and precise record keeping
Solid knowledge of computers and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software applications and medical equipment

Medical Office Receptionist Skills and Qualifications include, but not limited to:

Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10.00 to $15.00 /hour

Job Types: Part-time, PRN
