Job Summary
The Brand Manager II, Indirect Channel Partners is responsible for the development and execution of distributor-focused marketing strategies and execution that drive brand growth, demand generation, customer acquisition, and sales performance across indirect, rental and ASI channel partners. Marketing direction is based on meeting B2B brand objectives and sales goals and will reflect the nature of the brand while driving demand across key markets/segments and the sell-in/sell-through of Carhartt product. This role will help to bring the Carhartt brand to life across distributor accounts to drive awareness and sell-through of Carhartt uniform sales.

Associate Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Planning and internal Marketing partners to develop the Distributor Partner specific annual plans and seasonal go-to-market execution
- Act as a single point of contact with distributor partners, collaborating and cultivating strong relationships with these partners to manage effective ROI driving integrated marketing plans
- Plan, develop, implement and manage B2B marketing strategies designed to drive traffic and revenue, increase brand awareness and penetrate multiple industry segments, across Rental, Indirect and ASI channels
- Manage complex marketing programs that cross multiple partners, business categories and multiple marketing vehicles
- Help define and sell-in the vision for brand and product communications that best inspires both the decision maker and end user to purchase Carhartt uniform solutions
- Implement, monitor and help optimize Distributor planning process to drive revenue, increase B2B brand, and product awareness with targeted decision maker and end user segments that support corporate sales and Marketing initiatives
- Plan, track and measure the annual Marketing budgets of assigned Distributor Partners by reporting return on investment (ROI) for all major marketing programs on a seasonal and annual review basis to ensure revenue goals are being achieved
- Act as liaison between Sales, Brand and Product, helping to lead the development and activation of creative media, uniform-store, online and social media tools and other custom programming
- Keep abreast of consumer and competitor trends, as it relates to social, on-line, omni-channel and B2B behaviors, to develop and implement relevant and effective marketing programs, that grow the Carhartt brand and business
- Work primarily with mid-level managers to strategize 3-year vision with some involvement with executive level representatives
- Mid-to-high level complexity of Distributors requiring strong communication amongst teams to create plans and strategy requiring understanding of B2B business acumen
- Responsible for working with individuals in marketing and others (ex: Buyers, Marketing, Planning, Operations, E-commerce, etc) for Indirect Distributors, Rental, and ASI
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of account marketing or relevant working experience
- B2B experience preferred
- Strong background with the apparel, retail, or consumer product industry required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record of developing and presenting a compelling marketing strategy and content presentation at a buyer/marketing manager level meeting. Comfortable with executive/leadership presence
- Strategic and creative thinker with the vision to push beyond what has already been accomplished
- Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making, with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with accounts, agencies, and external resources
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail

- Extensive travel up to 50% through the U.S. and Canada required
