Join our dynamic dental practice as a Front Desk Coordinator, where your energetic and organized approach will set the tone for exceptional patient experiences! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding customer service while managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical record maintenance. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical administrative support within a vibrant dental setting.

<What You’ll Do>

Greet patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinate with dental professionals, and manage follow-ups.
Maintain accurate patient records, including insurance and treatment plans.
Handle billing and insurance claims efficiently.
Respond to patient questions and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Support marketing initiatives to help grow our patient base.
Keep the office organized, supplies stocked, and daily operations running efficiently.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and strong organizational abilities.
Be reliable, efficient, trustworthy, and knowledgeable in daily operations.
Use strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and quickly learn new programs as needed.

<Preferred Requirements>

Proven experience in a dental or medical front desk role with strong clinic experience or dental office experience
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental.
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and insurance verification processes
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and bilingual abilities preferred for diverse patient populations
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records
Experience with medical billing, ICD coding, documentation review, and health information management is highly desirable
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
