Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating hydraulic press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative fabrication projects while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Duties

Set up and operate hydraulic press brake machines, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts.
Program CNC-controlled press brake equipment to execute complex bending operations efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on press brake machinery to maximize uptime and safety.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality of finished products.
Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams to ensure seamless production flow.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols, including crane operation and forklift handling when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven 3+ years experience operating AccurPress hydraulic press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, and plasma cutting processes.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply GD&T principles for precise fabrication.
Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping presses, welding techniques, and sheet metal fabrication.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, as well as basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience with quality inspection procedures using tools like micrometers and gauges to ensure product specifications are met.
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
