Full Job Description

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is seeking a dedicated seasonal Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a face-paced dining environment. The Food Runner/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, turntables, and the position contributes to an exceptional dining experience. This is a seasonal full-time/part-time non-exempt position to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Scope of Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage orders to guests promptly and accurately, using proper table and seat numbers, in close coordination with Servers and Bartenders.
Clear and reset tables efficiently removing dishes, glassware, and tableware to the dish area while replenishing linens, tableware, and trays to maintain seamless service flow.
Assist service staff by delivering water, coffee, bread, and other guest amenities, and support fulfillment of to-go orders as needed.
Champion the guest experience by proactively engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and consistently striving to exceed expectations for satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area and dining room, including mopping and vacuuming as needed to uphold health, safety, and presentation standards.
Report to work in a neat, clean uniform with a well-groomed appearance, reflecting Chesapeake Bay Beach Club's professional standards at all times.
Support cross-departmental service needs, including delivery of guest room amenities for Inn guests as requested.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Manager on Duty.

Physical Demands

Walk and stand during entire shift.
Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
Remain stationary for long periods of time.
Frequently wash hands.
Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Be able to hear and talk.
Good close and distant vision and ability to adjust focus between the two.
