Full Job Description

Accounting Clerk/Data Entry Specialist

Employment opportunity available to individual who wants to work in a professional business office and develop skills to obtain a strong foundation in office practices and progress in the administrative field.

Part-time to Full-Time position

Position requires ability to work scheduled hours between 9 AM to 5:30 PM as needed to meet deadlines (including some weekend hours dependent on workload).

Starting wage is $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, dependent on current experience/skills.

Primary responsibilities include:

preparing and collating reports
creating and maintaining excel/word documents
maintaining client databases using multiple platforms
maintaining client files (creating, copying, scanning and filing)
assisting clients/handling front desk functions
assisting staff members as needed and running errands on occasion.

This position is ideal for an individual who wants to work in a professional business office, is eager to learn, advance, take on responsibilities and maintain office procedures, able to work independently, is a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented and possesses strong work ethics, follow-through and communication skills.

Applicants must have the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Five years professional business office experience/environment (i.e. accounting/ legal)
Advanced skills with Windows 10/11, 2016 MS Office Applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
Proficient in using business office equipment (Copier, postage meter, typewriter, fax)
Typing 40 wpm
Communication Skills - Ability to take and relay detailed information accurately
Organizational skills
Drivers License
