Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Holiday Inn-Madison. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will manage reservations, assist guests with inquiries, and handle various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone systems or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all guest information is kept confidential.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Uphold high standards of guest services by anticipating needs and resolving issues effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.
Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing reservations and guest requests.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
A passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment.
