Operations Coordinator – Construction / Remodeling / Service Coordination

We are hiring an Operations Coordinator with hands-on residential construction or remodeling experience to manage and coordinate jobs from sale to completion.

This role is ideal for someone with experience as a:

Residential contractor/remodeler
Construction Coordinator
Project Coordinator
Service Coordinator
Dispatcher (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar trades)

This Role (Read Before Applying)

This is NOT a full-time office position.

This is a hybrid operations role that includes both office and hands-on physical work.

Expect approximately:

50% office/computer work (scheduling, coordination, communication)
50% physical/field work (warehouse, loading materials, job site support)

Physical responsibilities include:

Loading and unloading ramp systems and materials
Handling and moving ramp sections
Organizing and working in the warehouse
Assisting with deliveries and occasional installations
Being on your feet and moving throughout the day

If you are looking for a desk-only position this position will NOT be a fit.

You will be responsible for and in control of both:

Job flow (scheduling, readiness, coordination)
Material flow (inventory, ordering, deliveries)

What You’ll Do: Job Coordination & Operations

Review job evaluations for accuracy and completeness
Identify missing information and potential issues before installation
Pick orders and prepare jobs for installation
Schedule installations and coordinate subcontractors
Communicate with customers, installers, and internal team
Review and inspect completed jobs
Oversee operating expenses and payments

Inventory, Ordering and Warehouse Management

Maintain accurate inventory levels for ramp systems
Order materials and maintain stock levels (new + used inventory)
Unload delivery trucks and put stock away
Manage vendor relationships and place purchase orders
Handle special orders and ensure timely delivery
Ensure warehouse is organized and clean

Requirements (Construction Experience Required)

Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home services
Understanding of job scopes, materials, and installation processes
Experience coordinating jobs, materials, or projects
Experience with inventory, ordering, or warehouse operations is a strong plus

Skills & Qualifications

Strong organization (both physical and digital)
High attention to detail (especially with materials and inventory)
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities at once
Problem-solving mindset
Ability to make decisions and take ownership
Strong communication skills

Technology & Systems

This role is run through software daily, including:

Field Service Software (FieldPulse or similar CRM)
Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
Task management systems

You must be comfortable:

Working on a computer one minute and unloading a truck the next

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000 –
Performance-based bonus opportunity
High performers can earn $70,000–$75,000+ total compensation

Self-managed role — no day-to-day supervision after training
Requires independence, ownership, and strong decision-making
Fast-paced environment with multiple jobs moving at once
You will often be working independently while coordinating field operations
