Summary
The Shop Technician is responsible for setting up equipment that has been sold. This may include some troubleshooting, minor and mid-level repair, software installation and other hardware-related work. Responsibilities also include planning & maintaining daily warehouse operations. This position may require travel to client locations in our geographical territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Equipment set up.
· Print sales orders equipment pick tickets.
· “Box Build” equipment as orders are placed to assure accuracy and organization.
· Communicate via email with all involved in IR (installation request) process.
· Equipment delivery driver as needed.
· Gain and maintain an understanding of how the D&A (Delivery & Acceptance document) pertains to this role.
· Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse and file records as required.
· Ensure lease return equipment is shipped timely.
· Notify involved parties of equipment status.
· Plan, organize, and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and maintenance of inventory.
· Receive, unpack, pack, load and issue equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
· Daily organization, maintenance, and upkeep of warehouse.
· Assist with receipt of all equipment shipments.
· Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.
· Load and unload delivery truck by hand or with pallet jack.
· Assist with, or prepare and update organization SOP’s.
· Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Advanced understanding of basic office applications.
