The Telesales Representative is responsible for a dedicated account base from which they will call upon to maximize supplier brands to the trade to evolve these accounts to a territory.
This position will be responsible to liaise with retail and restaurant store owners/managers and is responsible for all management of the CDI portfolio and driving growth in their current account base as well as underdeveloped accounts.

Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Contacting accounts on a daily schedule which will consist of order taking and promoting new items.

Recreating an established and efficient routing pattern
-
Analyzes entire account base by calling each account and determining the specific needs of the individual accounts.

Executes sales and merchandising objectives and understanding of monthly sales priorities.

Prepares and presents professional sales presentations (both over the phone/e-mail and in person) to customers by combining both the company’s priorities and customers’ needs.

Understands company pricing and product programming information on a monthly basis by maintaining accurate and up to date records.

Understands competitive pricing and product programming on a monthly basis.

Obtains appropriate distribution and of supplier brands throughout account base.

Pre-plans Friday initiatives by discussing accounts that may need more high end service.

Keeps current inventory and out of stock situations by communicating with management as to problem situations.

Collects payments online as well as conveying the account of other options, i.e. day of delivery.

Communicates with management on high potential accounts.

Attends weekly sales meetings by asking questions relative to current supplier activities.

Coordinates and or delivers all POS delivery to telesales accounts.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by assisting in special projects as needed.

Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

All other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School diploma or equivalent required.
-
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Sales
-
Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems.

Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
-
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
-
Analytic and Reporting skills
-
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance.
The associate must be able lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly exposed normal business office environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The ability to share workspace, travel by car or train, dress in proper business attire, attend evening meetings and meet deadlines are all requirements of this position.
