Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator/Office Manager to lead our dental practice operations with enthusiasm and precision. This pivotal role combines administrative excellence with a comprehensive understanding of dental insurance processes, practice management, and healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will be energized by streamlining office workflows, managing patient insurance claims, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Duties

Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient service delivery
Manage dental insurance claims processing, verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on reimbursements
Supervise office staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare privacy standards
Utilize dental practice management software Dentrix to manage patient data, billing, and scheduling
Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claim issues promptly and optimize reimbursement processes
Oversee budgeting, fiscal management, and financial reporting to ensure the practice’s financial health
Implement best practices in medical administrative support, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems management
Support human resources functions such as onboarding new staff, managing employee records, and facilitating ongoing training in medical terminology and clinic procedures

Requirements

Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with a focus on dental insurance coordination
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading teams in a medical or dental setting
Proficiency in dental practice management software Dentrix
Knowledge of medical billing procedures, managed care policies, and HIPAA compliance standards
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Background in fiscal management including budgeting and financial reporting
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and acute care procedures relevant to dental clinics
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, insurance providers, and regulatory agencies
Prior supervisory or managerial experience within a healthcare or dental practice is highly desirable
