Your expertise in food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen operations will ensure every dish meets our high-quality standards. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors
Assist with meal assembly, plating, and portioning to meet customer expectations and dietary requirements
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by following strict sanitation protocols and cleaning schedules
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to all food safety regulations and handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience
Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong culinary skills
Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
Skilled in food preparation techniques including slicing, chopping, and cooking methods such as grilling, sautéing, and baking
Excellent knife skills with precise slicing techniques for consistent results
Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency
Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
