Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support catering events and special functions as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.

Skills

Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
Strong background in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on fine dining environments.
