Full Job Description

About the Position

BC Staffing is looking for a highly responsible, proactive, and people-oriented On-Site Staffing & Operations Supervisor to serve as our primary on-site representative at a major resort property in the Port St. Lucie / Fort Pierce area.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working directly with employees, resort management, Human Resources, department managers, and a remote corporate team.

Because our internal management and HR team operates remotely, this individual will serve as the local bridge between BC Staffing, our employees, and the resort, ensuring that expectations are clearly communicated, operational issues are addressed quickly, and our employees consistently meet the professional standards expected by the property.

This is not a traditional office-based position. The successful candidate must be comfortable being physically present at the resort on a recurring basis, interacting with employees and management, observing operations, identifying issues, and taking initiative to resolve problems before they escalate.

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Employee Supervision

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for BC Staffing employees working at the resort.
Conduct regular on-site visits and maintain a visible presence among our staff.
Ensure employees consistently comply with established uniform and appearance standards.
Verify that employees are wearing the required uniform, name tag, appropriate footwear, and other required items.
Monitor employee professionalism, workplace conduct, attitude, punctuality, and overall presentation.
Identify behavioral, attendance, performance, or workplace issues and communicate them promptly to the appropriate BC Staffing team member.
Promote a respectful, professional, and positive work environment.
Support employee morale and overall well-being while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
Help employees understand resort expectations, workplace procedures, and BC Staffing policies.

Resort Relationship & Communication

Serve as the day-to-day local liaison between BC Staffing and the resort.
Maintain professional communication with resort Human Resources, department managers, supervisors, and other key contacts.
Receive and coordinate staffing-related requests from resort management.
Follow up on employee-related concerns, operational requests, scheduling issues, and other matters raised by the resort.
Ensure that information from the resort is communicated accurately and promptly to the BC Staffing remote team.
Ensure that BC Staffing's policies, decisions, and instructions are properly communicated to employees on-site.
Attend meetings with resort management and HR when required.
Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with resort leadership.

Scheduling & Workforce Coordination

Assist with the coordination and communication of employee schedules.
Monitor staffing needs and identify potential coverage issues.
Coordinate schedule changes, replacements, call-outs, and other staffing situations with the BC Staffing team.
Help ensure that the resort's staffing requirements are addressed promptly.
Communicate upcoming operational needs, special events, increased staffing requirements, or other changes that may affect workforce planning.
Coordinate employee meetings, orientations, trainings, and other on-site activities when necessary.

Employee Relations & Issue Resolution

Serve as the first local point of contact when employees have workplace concerns or questions.
Listen to employee concerns and determine the appropriate course of action.
Escalate sensitive or serious matters to BC Staffing Human Resources promptly.
Help resolve routine employee issues before they become larger operational problems.
Document relevant incidents, employee concerns, attendance issues, performance concerns, and other situations requiring follow-up.
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee or resort information.
Support investigations and fact-finding when requested by BC Staffing management or HR.

Quality Control & Compliance

Conduct regular visual and operational checks of BC Staffing personnel.
Ensure employees comply with resort-specific standards and BC Staffing policies.
Identify recurring issues and communicate them to management.
Help ensure that new employees understand expectations from their first day on-site.
Monitor overall employee presentation and professionalism.
Provide feedback to the remote management team regarding employee performance and operational trends.

Remote Team Collaboration

Work closely with BC Staffing's remote HR and Operations teams.
Participate in regular virtual meetings and operational updates.
Provide timely reports and updates regarding the resort workforce.
Maintain clear communication through designated company communication channels.
Act as the "eyes and ears" of the remote management team on-site.
Provide accurate, objective, and timely information so management can make informed decisions.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

Fluent in English and Spanish.
Located in Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, or a nearby area.
Able to reliably travel to the resort on a recurring basis.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Professional, approachable, and confident when communicating with management.
Comfortable addressing employees and holding them accountable to established standards.
Able to communicate effectively with both hourly employees and management-level personnel.
Proactive rather than reactive.
Able to identify problems and take appropriate action without constant supervision.
Comfortable working independently while remaining closely connected to a remote management team.
Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential employee and business information.
Available to respond to operational needs when required.
Comfortable using email, WhatsApp, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and other digital communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in hospitality, staffing, human resources, operations, employee relations, or a related field.
Previous experience supervising or coordinating hourly employees.
Experience working with hotels, resorts, restaurants, hospitality operations, or staffing companies.
Experience communicating directly with HR departments and operational managers.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Experience coordinating employee schedules or workforce coverage.
Experience working with a remote management team is a plus.

Important Note

This position requires regular physical presence at the resort. The candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Port St. Lucie / Fort Pierce area and have reliable transportation.

The role combines on-site field supervision with remote collaboration. The selected candidate will become an important local representative of BC Staffing and will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, accountability, and excellent communication at all times.

Pay: $1,000.00 per week
