Full Job Description

Job Summary

Our family-owned flooring company is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Flooring Showroom Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well versed in daily front desk operations, demonstrate strong customer service skills, possess an eye for detail, and be adept with multiple computer applications. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has high attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Candidates with prior flooring material knowledge would be a great asset in this scenario. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with full-time receiving great company benefits.

Responsibilities

Answer showroom phonelines, assess caller needs, and direct them to proper personnel
Send scheduled measure confirmation emails to customers and coordinate appointment details
Enter and maintain customer and project information within the Retail Sales Tracker
Email warranty and maintenance documents to customers upon project completion
Follow up with customers to request online reviews and customer feedback
Label, organize, and maintain new incoming product samples within the showroom
Assist with customer communication and scheduling coordination
Support showroom staff with administrative and organizational tasks, including maintaining inventory and stock of forms, printer supplies, and sales tools
Process customer financing contracts and credit card transactions
Coordinate internal communication between sales staff, estimators, and installation department
Monitor and respond to incoming emails and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Meet with flooring vendors regarding product updates and in-house display changes
Assist with maintaining an organized, professional, and customer-friendly showroom environment
Request, update, and maintain current retail sales pricing information from vendors and suppliers
Provide general administrative support to management and retail sales staff

Qualifications

Quickbooks experience helpful
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service attitude
Strong organizational skills
Previous experience with office or showroom front desk responsibilities
Flooring knowledge very beneficial

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
