Austin Territory Manager Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Territory Manager to join our team in the Austin Texas market. In this role, the Territory Manager will call on primary care and internal medicine providers to share clinical research on the benefits of including beef as part of healthy dietary patterns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Represent the Texas Beef Council in medical offices throughout the assigned territory
Identify target physicians and develop strategic routes to maximize effectiveness
Understand scientific research related to beef's role in the diet to help healthcare professionals provide current, informed nutrition guidance regarding beef
Leverage critical thinking and communication skills to deliver impactful messages to healthcare professionals
Cultivate connections within medical offices to be seen as a trusted and valuable resource
Strategically utilize budget to enhance efficiency and overall impact
Address healthcare professionals’ objections, questions, and concerns, utilizing appropriate resources and information
Communicate and collaborate with management, teammates, and the Texas Beef Council
Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings as required
Remain compliant with all regulations and adhere to all company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
3+ years of successful medical sales or medical marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals
Must be credible, ethical, and compliance-minded
Must exhibit enthusiasm, passion, and a high level of drive and energy
