Full Job Description

Anglers Marine NC, a successful and fast-growing boat dealership located in Supply, NC is seeking a part-time Dealership Accountant/Bookkeeper to assist CFO.

Key skills and qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a controller, manager or similar senior accounting role is necessary.
Technical skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Lightspeed, Microsoft Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-orientation, and excellent communication skills to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements like income statements and balance sheets.
Budgeting and analysis: Managing the budget process, tracking spending against the budget, and reporting variances.
Internal controls and compliance: Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee journal entries, bank and credit card account reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
Review accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and CPA.
Process improvement: Assessing current accounting operations and implementing new processes and software to improve efficiency.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
