Full Job Description

Renew Medic Cabinet Restoration is seeking a highly organized and driven Estimator to join our fast growing Atlanta team (we opened just over a year ago and have grown the team from 6 to 28 fantastic employees). This position is responsible for managing the estimating process from cabinet removal through insurance approval. You will own each project during the estimating phase, working directly with adjusters, mitigation companies, and our internal team to secure approval for cabinet restoration as well as any necessary supplements.

You will prepare removal invoices, estimate repair and reinstallation costs, compare those costs against full cabinet replacement, and build a compelling, well documented case showing why restoration is the better solution for the insurance carrier and homeowner. Once approval is received, the project is handed off to our production team for scheduling and completion.

Key Responsibilities

Own every cabinet restoration project from removal through insurance approval
Prepare accurate invoices for emergency cabinet removal services
Estimate cabinet repair, refinishing, rebuilding, and reinstallation costs
Compare restoration costs to full replacement costs and identify savings
Prepare detailed estimate packages with photos, documentation, and supporting justification
Communicate directly with insurance adjusters, desk reviewers, and mitigation companies
Negotiate and justify restoration scope until approval is obtained
Maintain complete and organized job documentation within DASH
Work closely with field technicians and production staff to ensure estimate accuracy
Follow up aggressively on pending approvals to keep claims moving
Hand approved projects to the operations team with complete documentation
Continuously improve estimating processes and approval rates

Qualifications

Estimating experience required, preferably in restoration, mitigation, insurance claims, or construction
Strong understanding of insurance claims and property restoration workflows preferred
Experience communicating with insurance adjusters and reviewing claim documentation
Familiarity with Xactimate pricing and estimating concepts is a plus, although we use our own proprietary pricing model
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple active projects simultaneously
Experience with DASH or similar job management software is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
