Full Job Description

Role: Administrative Accounting Assistant
Location: Atlanta, GA (30327)
On-Site (Monday-Friday)
Hourly: Non-Exempt ($26-30/hr)

Administrative Accounting Assistant

Vaco is partnering with a growing insurance organization in Atlanta to hire an Administrative Accounting Assistant. This role provides a blend of administrative, accounting, and compliance support, including front office responsibilities, executive support (CEO/CFO), financial reporting assistance, and state regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide front desk support, including answering phones and greeting visitors
Support the President & CEO with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks
Assist with accounting functions, including deposits, cash reporting, and processing documentation
Prepare and submit state compliance and regulatory filings
Maintain agency setup documentation and compliance records
Support special projects and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of administrative, operational accounting, insurance, or executive support experience (required)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
Strong organizational, communication, and data entry skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Insurance industry experience would be a plus
