Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Base + Up to 10% Performance Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, high-accountability Shop Foreman to lead daily shop floor operations within a growing production and operations environment. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, evolving organizations where structure is still being built and operational excellence must be created—not inherited.

You will serve as the operational bridge between production, shipping & receiving, inventory, and leadership. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role requires someone who can lead people, improve processes, drive accountability, and bring order to ambiguity.

This is not a maintenance role for an already polished operation. This is an opportunity to help build the playbook, establish standards, and create scalable systems while positioning yourself for future advancement into a Director of Operations or General Manager role.

Key ResponsibilitiesShop Floor Leadership

Lead day-to-day shop floor operations across production and shipping/receiving
Set clear expectations for team performance, accountability, and execution
Supervise and develop production personnel while maintaining operational standards
Serve as the primary point of coordination between shop operations and leadership

Operational Execution

Manage production scheduling and workflow to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
Oversee inventory control, materials management, and vendor coordination
Ensure shipping and receiving functions operate accurately and efficiently
Monitor operational bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions

Process Improvement & Systems

Develop, implement, and track KPIs across shop operations
Build SOPs and operational processes where structure does not yet exist
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and accountability
Create scalable systems that support future company growth

Leadership & Accountability

Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and high standards
Maintain safety compliance and reinforce operational discipline
Lead from the front in a hands-on environment
Step into multiple functions as needed to support the team and operation

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in a shop, manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment
Experience managing production teams, workflows, or operational personnel
Strong understanding of KPI management and operational reporting
Demonstrated ability to build structure and improve processes in evolving environments
Experience with shipping & receiving, inventory, or production coordination strongly preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and incomplete information
Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to jump into operational challenges directly
Self-starter mentality with a high level of personal accountability

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000 depending on experience
Performance Bonus: Up to 10% annually
Health stipend provided
