Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Per Diem
Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts (As Needed)
Location: Middletown RI
Setting: Family shelter and Residential Group Home

Arbor Associates is seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide per diem coverage in a residential group home supporting adult males with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
This is more than a caregiving role—it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Provide compassionate, person-centered support in a structured residential group home setting.

Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and daily routines.

Build meaningful relationships by actively engaging with individuals through activities, skill development, and community involvement—this is a hands-on, active role.

Support individuals with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs while promoting independence and dignity.
Accurately document services provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure continuity of care.

Availability to work 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM), 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM), and/or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Ability to reliably commute to and work in Middletown, CT.

Comfortable supporting individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges.

Previous Direct Support Professional (DSP), caregiver, behavioral health, or human services experience is preferred but not required.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements:
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques, Medication Administration (MAP), or Safety Care as required for each worksite.
Reliable transportation & active, valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass extensive background screening, including fingerprinting background checks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as the role requires.
