Position Overview
ENK / NK Group is seeking a proactive and hands-on professional to join and support the growth of our U.S. operations in the Philadelphia area.
This is a hybrid role combining technical engineering support, sales, and warehouse operations.
Under normal business operations, the primary responsibilities will focus on the sales of industrial high-pressure gas cylinders and warehouse operations and management.
When shipboard fire protection projects arise, the employee will support the installation, service, testing, and commissioning of CO₂ fire suppression systems installed onboard vessels at shipyards in the Philadelphia area.
The successful candidate will also serve as an important local point of contact between our U.S. operations and ENK headquarters in Korea.
Key Responsibilities1. CO₂ Fire Suppression System Installation & Service
- Perform installation and service work for marine CO₂ fire suppression systems at shipyards in the Philadelphia area.
- Install and connect high-pressure CO₂ cylinders, manifolds, piping, valves, and related equipment.
- Support system testing, inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and requirements at shipyards and job sites.
- Coordinate installation and service activities with ENK/NK technical teams and customers.
Shipyard-related responsibilities will be performed as required when relevant projects arise.
2. Cylinder Sales & Warehouse Operations
These responsibilities will represent the primary day-to-day duties of the position.
- Develop and expand sales of industrial high-pressure gas cylinders in the U.S. market.
- Communicate with existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on customer inquiries and sales opportunities.
- Receive and inspect incoming cylinder products.
- Manage cylinder inventory and warehouse operations.
- Prepare products for customer deliveries and shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
- Coordinate local deliveries and logistics activities when required.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
3. Communication with ENK Headquarters in Korea
- Maintain regular business communication with ENK headquarters in Korea.
- Report on sales activities, inventory status, customer requirements, and project progress.
- Coordinate cylinder orders and delivery schedules with headquarters.
- Communicate and coordinate technical information related to CO₂ fire suppression system projects.
- Participate in online meetings with ENK headquarters as required.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred:
- Fire suppression system installation or service
- CO₂ fire suppression systems
- Clean Agent fire suppression systems
- Marine fire protection and fire suppression systems
- Industrial or commercial fire protection systems
- High-pressure gas cylinders
- Fire suppression piping and cylinder installation
- Industrial gas or gas cylinder sales
- Warehouse operations and management
Marine or shipyard experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates with experience installing or servicing land-based fire protection systems are also strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience working with CO₂, Clean Agent, or other fixed fire suppression systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on mechanical installation and field service skills.
- Basic understanding of piping, valves, and high-pressure cylinders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Strong customer service and sales mindset.
- Ability to independently manage warehouse operations and inventory.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with an overseas headquarters and international teams.
Additional Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work at shipyards in the Philadelphia area when required.
- Ability to work onboard vessels and in industrial and shipyard environments.
- Physical ability to safely handle cylinders, tools, and related equipment.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) if required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
Compensation will be determined based on a combination of:
- Fire protection and fire suppression system experience
- Industrial high-pressure gas cylinder experience
- Sales experience
- Warehouse operations and management experience
- Overall technical qualifications
Work Location
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas
The employee will primarily work from the company's warehouse location. Depending on business and project requirements, work may also be performed at customer locations and shipyards in the Philadelphia area.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
