ABOUT THE JOB:

Smyles & Company is a hometown relax-paced general dentistry practice in Saint Charles with focus on people (esp children) with special needs in the Fox Valley.

We are currently seeking a full-time DENTAL FRONT OFFICE coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Our employees are friendly, talented, and systems-oriented.

The practice is very team-driven and collaborative.

$22-29 Per Hour (DOE/DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE) + Benefits

AS OUR PERFECT MATCH, YOU:

Have over 1000 hours as a dental front office experience
Have Microsoft Office Mastery
Have Working knowledge of dental practice management Open Dental Software
Mastery In Dental & experience in Dental Insurance including Medicaid , Billing, Payments, And Scheduling
Have a background in Customer Service
Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Show a strong respect for all your coworkers, regardless of position
Are willing and able to demonstrate their ability to abide by the practice’s front office protocols for the basic front office tasks of checking patients in and out, presenting treatment plans, confirmation calls, creating full provider schedules, verifying insurance

AT MINIMUM, YOUR QUALIFICATIONS SHOW:

Friendly, talented, and system-oriented.
Fluent Spanish Required.
Mastery in Dental Insurance/ Medicaid
Working knowledge of dental practice management software.
Microsoft Word Mastery
Mastery In Billing, Payments, And Scheduling
Mastery of the basic front office tasks of checking patients in and out, presenting treatment plans, confirmation calls, creating full provider schedules, and verifying insurance
Excellent Phone Answering/Communication Skills
Impeccable Organization for Record Keeping
Communicate and report to the Office Manager and Doctors as needed
Strong organizational and administrative skills—you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multitask, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others
Ability to project a positive, warm, and professional image in person and on the phone
Adherence to office protocol including daily front desk duties
Considers the position as a long-term career

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

On time performance
Able to be on duty for designated schedule
Background Check
Available to work overtime on occasion on short notice.
Able to lift boxes overhead weighing up to 15 pounds
Able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Able to reach items on a shelf that is five feet tall
