Execute equipment inspections, repair and PM’s in accordance with CMS system and equipment supplier recommendations. Assemble and/or disassemble machine tooling – inspecting, cleaning, repairing. Complete all log sheets manually and /or enter required information into CMSsystem. Report daily and /or weekly on outstanding equipment issues as directed; track and report outages.
- Fabricates and/or modifies new and existing equipment; assists with installation and debugging of production, buildings and grounds, environmental and safety equipment; work with equipment suppliers’ field service staff on installations, upgrades.
- Troubleshoot issues and repair failures in facilities equipment to include but not limited to minor HVAC (filter, belt replacement), sheet rock/wall repairs, painting, repairing and adjusting janitorial equipment.
- Assists to track critical spare parts stocking; makes recommendations for parts ordering; completes and submits requisitions to Supervisor to effect purchasing.
- Upon completion of appropriate training, provides support in collecting, handling, securing, transporting and loading of hazardous waste materials in facility.
- Assists in writing procedures and keeping these complete and current. Interface with other professional staff and management to troubleshoot equipment or malfunctions, quality issues or process changes.
- Complete all required training, either on site or at equipment supplier’s site.
- Interface with other professional staff and management to troubleshoot equipment or malfunctions, quality issues or process changes.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.
