Auto Dealership Billing and Title Clerk

$15.90 - $19 Per Hour but We Pay More For Your Experience!

Auto Dealership Experience is Preferred

East Syracuse Chevrolet, a member of the West Herr Auto Group is looking for a Full-Time Billing and Title Clerk to complete motor vehicle registration paperwork and process accounting of vehicle purchases. Experience is preferred. We appreciate our employees and invest in their success!

$15.90 - $19 per hour but we pay more for your experience

Responsibilities - Billing and Title Clerk:

Complete motor vehicle registration paperwork
Prepare tax and title documents on a timely basis
Record incoming titles daily according to established procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve problems specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
Reconcile schedules
Process incentives
Verify all deal contents and issue payoff checks for trade-ins
Post all sale transactions to accounting
Verify the accuracy of posting through reporting systems in place
Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications/Requirements - Billing and Title Clerk:

Billing and Title experience not necessary, training provided
Research skills and ability to analyze the information required to perform job duties
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Outstanding attention to detail, confidentiality, and organized
A good work ethic takes initiative
Professional appearance and good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
