In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, craft authentic and innovative Caribbean dishes, and inspire a talented team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise in fine dining, food safety, and team management will drive the success of our restaurant while creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with creativity and passion in a bustling hospitality environment.

Duties

Lead the development and execution of menu planning that highlights authentic Caribbean cuisine while incorporating modern culinary trends
Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient food production processes
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality, taste, and visual appeal
Manage inventory control and food management procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, professional growth, and high morale

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining restaurants with a strong background in Caribbean cuisine or similar culinary styles
Extensive supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated expertise in food production, food service management, and catering operations
Knowledge of inventory management, cost control strategies, and food safety standards including sanitizing procedures
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience with menu planning, shift management, and restaurant operations within the food industry
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and serving guests

Expected hours (Potentially):

Tuesday - Sunday : 2pm to 10pm
