Position Title: Passenger Service Supervisor
Department: Passenger Services
Employment Status: Full-Time

Reports To: Passenger Service Manager / Station Manager
Location: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
Cost Center: TBD
Effective Date: TBD

Position Summary
The Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of passenger service functions including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and arrival processes. This role leads a team of frontline agents, ensures regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary point of escalation for customer and operational issues during assigned shifts.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Supervise passenger service agents across all phases of flight operations including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and arrivals
Ensure full compliance with airline procedures, TSA regulations, and company safety protocols
Provide real-time coaching, guidance, and support to frontline agents to maintain established service standards
Resolve customer complaints and operational disruptions in a timely, professional, and solution-oriented manner
Coordinate with airline representatives, ramp teams, and other internal departments to ensure seamless flight operations
Monitor staffing levels and adjust agent assignments in response to flight schedule changes and operational demands
Complete all required shift logs, incident documentation, and operational reports accurately and on time
Support the training and onboarding of new passenger service agents
Lead pre-shift briefings and communicate relevant updates, policy changes, and safety advisories
Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Minimum of 2 years of experience in passenger services or a customer-facing operational role
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in an operational environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and airline operating systems
Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport and airline security clearances
Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field
Prior experience with a ground handling service provider
Familiarity with airline-specific policies, procedures, and systems
Experience managing irregular operations, customer escalations, or emergency response situations
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
Ability to work in high-noise environments
Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision

Schedule Requirements

Must be available for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

The Role
As a Passenger Service Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind every passenger interaction on your shift. From check-in to boarding to baggage and arrivals, you will lead your team with purpose, resolve challenges in real time, and ensure every flight departs and arrives with the level of service our airline partners and their passengers deserve.

What You Will Own

Supervising frontline agents across all passenger service touchpoints including check-in, boarding, baggage, and arrivals
Ensuring compliance with airline procedures, TSA regulations, and safety standards at all times
Coaching and developing your team on the floor to consistently meet and exceed service expectations
Resolving customer escalations and operational challenges with professionalism and efficiency
Coordinating with airline representatives, ramp teams, and other departments for seamless flight operations
Managing staffing levels and shift assignments in response to real-time operational needs
Leading pre-shift briefings and keeping your team informed, aligned, and motivated
Completing accurate shift logs, incident reports, and operational documentation

What We Are Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Aviation or Business preferred
2 or more years of experience in passenger services or a customer-facing operational role
1 or more years of supervisory or lead experience in an operational setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and airline operating systems
Ability to obtain and maintain all required airport and airline security clearances
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual skills are a plus
