Hiring Occupational Therapists (OT) – 13-Week 1099 Contract

$45–$50/hr | Paid Approved Travel Time

If you're an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with diverse patient populations and wants the flexibility of a contract role with competitive pay, paid travel time, and the opportunity to work across multiple clinical settings, we'd love to hear from you.

Paid travel time: Approved travel between assigned locations is compensated at your regular hourly rate, with drive time included in your 40-hour workweek.
Consistent full-time schedule: Enjoy a 40-hour workweek while providing services across multiple locations in Clay County, Alabama.
Opportunity to extend your contract: Start with a 13-week 1099 contract with the possibility of extension based on assignment needs and performance.
Expand your clinical experience: Treat patients across outpatient, inpatient/nursing-home, and school-based settings, allowing you to strengthen your skills with a wide range of populations.

What you'll do

Complete occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled occupational therapy services across assigned settings
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Collaborate with families, school personnel, facility staff, and interdisciplinary team members
Support functional independence and participation in daily activities
Maintain compliance with professional, company, facility, and payer requirements

What you'll bring

Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Alabama Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
Reliable transportation
Ability to work across multiple clinical and educational settings
Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
