Full Job Description

Richard Dean Insurance is seeking a high-level, driven and people-focused Chief Operations Manager to help lead and scale one of Florida’s fastest-growing insurance agencies.

This is not an entry-level management role. We are looking for a proven operator who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands leadership at scale, and can help bring structure, accountability and execution to a growing multi-location organization.

With over $40M in premium, 20+ team members, and continued expansion across Florida, this role will serve as a key strategic partner to ownership and leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across all agency locations
Lead and develop managers, team leads and department leaders
Create operational systems, accountability structures and performance tracking
Monitor agency KPIs including retention, sales production, service standards and profitability
Improve workflows, staffing efficiency and operational scalability
Partner with ownership on strategic planning, hiring and organizational growth
Help build and maintain a strong culture focused on accountability, professionalism and team development
Manage escalated operational and staffing issues with professionalism and urgency
Support implementation of new technology, systems and process improvements
Ensure consistent execution of company standards across all locations

Qualifications

Proven leadership and operations management experience
Experience managing multiple departments and/or locations preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to lead through change and growth
High emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability
Strong understanding of accountability, team development and operational execution
Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment
