Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a mobile Podiatrist, where you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing foot and lower extremity conditions. This energetic position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive podiatric care to homebound patients and patientsin facilities. You will be at the forefront of improving mobility and quality of life for diverse patient populations through expert clinical interventions and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to diagnose foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions.
Develop personalized treatment plans encompassing medical and rehabilitative approaches to address various podiatric issues.
Perform minor surgical procedures such as toenail removals, wound debridement, and other foot surgeries using aseptic techniques.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and ultrasounds to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, proper footwear, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

Valid state licensure as a Podiatrist with current certification to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in outpatient podiatric medicine with familiarity in medical imaging interpretation and surgical procedures.
Experience in managing diverse patient populations across inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
Familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) for accurate billing and compliance purposes.
Ability to perform clinical procedures such as wound care, and diabetic foot assessments confidently.
