Position Details

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $18.75

Schedule:

Consistent 12-hour shifts (3-4 per week)
Evening/Night (Wed-Fri or Sun-Tues alternating Saturdays): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Rotating weekends required

What You’ll Do

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of properties, courtyards, pools, and high-value areas
Ensure all access points are properly secured and safety standards maintained
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence
Mentor and assist newer officers, reinforcing company policies and best practices
Support training and team development to uphold the highest standards of service

Minimum Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older for unarmed security officer roles; 21+ for armed security guard roles.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must pass a background check in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (where permitted by law).
Security guard licensing/certification may be required depending on state or local regulations (must be obtained prior to employment).
Must have a 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours)
Ability to conduct foot patrols, including stair climbing
Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat and humidity
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed
