Full Job Description

HT Pho-Tronics Global Circuits is a worldwide leader in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), LCDs, and adjacent electronic products, and one of the largest privately-owned printed circuit board manufacturing companies in the United States. HT Global Circuits provides small and large corporations, including government agencies, worldwide manufacturing solutions that meet ever-changing global technology shifts through domestic and off-shore channels including industry-leading rapid prototyping.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for helping with the supply chain process between production and customer service. They also assist in product requirements, and provide assistance to other Shipping & Receiving employees by coordinating day to day activities and communicating what needs to be done to meet production and customer demands. The working hours for this job are 10:00AM to 6:30PM, with occasional (Mandatory) needs to work until 8:30PM if a shipment comes in late or a shipment has to be sent.

DUTIES/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receive orders and execute orders by shipping, tracking and reporting all shipments to ensure compliance to the daily schedules.

· Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments to ensure material is available for shop floor production or if finished goods, are stocked and available for shipment to the customer.

· Works with Operations and Customer Service/Sales to review status, commitments and schedules to ensure critical shipment are taking place in a well communicated and timely manner.

· Performs cycle counts and make adjustments as necessary to inventory to ensure appropriate inventory reporting.

Read job tickets carefully, count quantities, weigh boxes
Boxing, labeling, pelleting, shrink wrapping.

· Satisfactory completion of the Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification

· Load and record customer merchandise in and out of warehouse & customer pick-up including all merchandise in the customer hold area

· Use Fed Ex and UPS computer programs shipping products daily.

COMPETENCIES:

· Detail and precision

· Displays effective interpersonal skills sufficient to build positive, productive and effective professional working relationships with customers and employees

· Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret performance and operations issues

· Computer and Microsoft Office knowledge

· Perform cycle counts ensuring raw materials and finished goods inventory is accurate

· Keep work area clean

· Work occasional overtime when customer demands require

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks skills, Advance knowledge of Excel, Word

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must possess excellent customer service skills/Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

· Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (Ability to use a calculator.)

· Must be able to use a forklift

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
