Responsibilities

Package baked goods attractively for retail display or catering orders while maintaining food safety standards
Assist in food production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
Support catering events by preparing baked goods and desserts tailored to client specifications
Handle food preparation tasks with precision, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling finished products
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee product quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings for seasonal or special occasions

Skills

Extensive pastry experience with proficiency in baking techniques and flavor combinations
Skilled in cake decorating, including piping, fondant work, and intricate designs
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Excellent knife skills for precise slicing, chopping, and preparation tasks
Experience in packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
Ability to prepare a wide range of sweet treats with consistency and artistic flair
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, piping tools, and refrigeration units
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills to engage with clients and team members positively
Knowledge of the food industry standards related to culinary production and restaurant experience
