Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) saw machines to precisely cut various materials according to detailed specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the fabrication of precision components in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC saw machines, ensuring accurate cutting based on blueprints and technical drawings
Program CNC saw equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CNC programming techniques to optimize cutting processes
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to meet production requirements
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC saw machinery including Fanuc controls and other automation systems
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards
Handle materials safely using forklift or other materials handling equipment; prepare raw materials for processing
Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, and quality control inspections to ensure seamless production flow

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery, especially CNC saws, milling machines, lathes, or related equipment in a manufacturing setting
Strong understanding of CNC programming, CAM software, and blueprint reading skills
Mechanical knowledge of tooling, fabrication processes, press brake machines, stamping presses, welding, and assembly techniques
Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and factory automation systems
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately
Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments
Warehouse experience or materials handling skills including forklift operation certification preferred
Knowledge of quality control standards and manufacturing safety protocols
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
