Records Clerk for the City of Novi, MI

Do you have a strong passion for law enforcement and excellent administrative skills? If so, consider joining the accredited Novi Police Department in the City of Novi as a Records Clerk.

The City of Novi, MI, a beautiful community of 60,000+, is seeking to hire a Records Clerk to handle highly sensitive and confidential clerical work, handle complex matters, interact with the public, and work on projects that are detailed in nature. You will perform a variety of general office, clerical, typing, and record-keeping duties along with providing office support to both the Police and Fire Departments.

Qualifications: High School diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred), three to five years related clerical work preferred, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, ability to handle possibly disturbing information while handling case files, demonstrated ability to consistently and effectively provide a high level of service in accordance with the Novi Guest Service Guarantee Policy to all customer and visitors served by, as well as within, the City organization.

Salary: $53,301 per collective bargaining agreement
