We are seeking qualified candidates available to work on the following days and times:

· 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

JOB SUMMARY

STMW Manufacturing, an ISO 9001:2015 certified precision manufacturer serving the semiconductor industry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for cutting raw materials to specified dimensions using band saws or other cutting equipment while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, understands material handling procedures, and is committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up and operate band saws and other cutting equipment.

· Cut raw materials (metal stock, bar, plate, etc.) according to work orders and blueprints.

· Verify measurements using calipers, tape measures, and other inspection tools.

· Maintain proper material identification and traceability per ISO standards.

· Deburr and prepare materials for next production stage.

· Monitor blade condition and perform basic preventative maintenance.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).

· Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

· Accurately complete production documentation and job travelers.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 1+ year of experience operating saws in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

· Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurement conversions).

· Ability to use measuring tools accurately.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

PREFERRED SKILLS

· Experience in precision machining or semiconductor manufacturing.

· Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

· Experience with ERP or shop tracking systems.
