Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, patients, and team members. Your organizational skills and computer literacy will ensure smooth office management, supporting daily administrative functions with efficiency and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your clerical and office management expertise in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression for everyone entering the office
Answer and direct all incoming calls using professional phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for patients
Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and correspondence
Utilize Dentrix, Microsoft Office, and other computer apps to schedule appointments, send emails, and communicate with patients
Support office management tasks such as supply inventory, mail distribution, and basic bookkeeping
Assist with clerical duties including typing, photocopying, faxing, and maintaining organized files

Experience

Prior office experience or administrative support roles demonstrating strong organizational skills
Proficiency in computer literacy including Dentrix and Microsoft Office
Experience with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
Knowledge of office management practices such as filing systems, data entry, proofreading, and calendar management
Customer service experience in a professional setting that emphasizes clear communication and support skills
Personal assistant or medical/dental receptionist experience is a plus for understanding specialized front desk functions
