About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Project Manager to lead new Baja Designs Vehicle Specific Kit (VSK) and applications projects across the automotive, motorcycle, commercial, and powersports segments. This role will focus on coordinating cross department activities to ensure on-time, on-budget product launches. The ideal candidate will use experience in project management with relevant industry experience to dictate strategy through unknowns, collaborate across departments, and execute complex development projects with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities are to coordinate activities and deliverables of engineering team to ensure continuous on-time launch of Vehicle Specific Kits and application-based lighting and power management products.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-departmental collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Production, and Technical Support to ensure timely and successful product development and launch.
- Project Governance: Own the full product development lifecycle - setting timelines, defining milestones, holding stakeholders accountable, and managing deliverables across multiple projects in parallel. For smaller projects, work independently to turn project requirements into designs that are manufactured and launched without pulling resources from higher priority projects.
- Technical Process Oversight: Work with Product Development Management Coordinator to guide the creation and accuracy of part numbers, BOMs, pricing structures, and product specifications.
- External Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with business partners and customers to access vehicles for VSK development as well as onboarding of partner VSK solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain and improve SOPs to reflect best practices and evolving standards within the Engineering and Product Development team.
- Product Line Maintenance: Ensure compatibility databases and website product pages are consistently updated with current year, make, model information.
