Full Job Description

Job Overview
Join our team as a Precision Woodworking & Custom Fabrication Specialist, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will bring bespoke sauna projects to life.

The Sauna Place is growing fast—and we are tripling the size of our workshop to keep up with demand. We’re moving into our expanded manufacturing facility in December 2025, and we’re building out a top-tier team of skilled woodworkers who want to be part of something long-term.

We’re hiring an experienced Sauna Craftsman to help build premium custom saunas made from Western Red Cedar, Hemlock, and specialized timbers. This is hands-on, precision woodworking—not generic labor or assembly-line work.

If you have real shop experience and want to work with high-quality materials in a stable, growing company, this job is for you.

Responsibilities

Build custom saunas and components from raw materials to finished product
Interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and woodworking plans
Cut, plane, route, sand, and assemble wood components with accuracy
Table saws
Chop/Miter saws
Routers
Planers
Sanders
Nailers and fastening tools
Perform precision joinery, bench construction, door/window assembly, and fine finishing
Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas
Work with shop leadership as we scale into the new facility

Experience

2+ years professional woodworking, carpentry, cabinetry, or fabrication experience
Strong ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions
High proficiency with woodworking machines and hand tools
Attention to detail—clean lines, square assemblies, smooth finishes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, consistent, and craftsmanship-oriented
Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively.
